This Week’s Prayer

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Heavenly Father,

Today, I surrender to You the things I have been trying to carry on my own.

The questions I cannot answer.
The situations I cannot control.
The outcomes I cannot predict.

Help me trust You even when I cannot see what You are doing.

When I am tempted to worry, remind me that You are already ahead of me.

Give me the wisdom to know what requires my action and the faith to release what belongs in Your hands.

Order my steps.
Direct my decisions.
Quiet my mind.

And when Your plan looks different from mine, give me the courage to trust that Your way is greater than anything I could have planned for myself.

Today, I release the need to know how everything will work out.

I trust You.

A Prayer for Peace, Clarity and Strength

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for bringing me through another day.

Where I feel uncertain, give me clarity.
Where I feel tired, renew my strength.
Where I feel anxious, replace it with Your peace.

Help me release what I cannot control
and trust You with what I cannot yet understand.

Guide my decisions.
Guard my heart.
Order my steps.

And whatever today brings,
help me remember that I do not walk through it alone.

God,

Today, guide my steps and direct my path.

Give me wisdom to recognise what is meant for me and discernment to walk away from what is not.

When I cannot see what lies ahead, help me to trust You instead of leaning on my own understanding.

Close every door that would lead me away from Your purpose, and give me the courage to walk through the doors You open.

Order my steps, guard my decisions, and let Your will lead me in everything I do.
